This week’s romantic comedy is the directorial debut of Italian actress, Laura Morante, who also stars in it. She plays Amanda, the protagonist, who has always had complicated relationships with men: as soon as she starts engaging seriously with one, she switches from sweet and caring to cold and suspicious. According to her best friend’s husband, who is a psychoanalyst, this occurs because Amanda suffers from androphobia, an irrational fear of men. Things are, however, different with Antoine, a shy colleague of Amanda’s best friend, Florence: with him she feels safe, free to speak her mind and be herself … but only because she thinks that he is gay. Will she find a way out of this vexing predicament?
