Don’t forget to secure your place at the 2016 LLAS e-learning symposium before the registration deadline of Monday 18th January 2016! This will be the 11th running of this popular event, which is being organised by the Centre for Language, Linguistics and Area Studies (LLAS) at the University of Southampton, and runs next Thursday and Friday (21st-22nd January). This year’s theme is ‘Humans and the machine: Best practice in using technology for teaching’. Sessions will cover topics such as MOOCs, telecollaboration, games for language learning, students as agents of change, feedback, web tools and apps, OERs and CLIL.
All three of the keynotes will be live-streamed through the LLAS website, and the speakers will be:
Sian Bayne, Professor of Digital Education, University of Edinburgh
Teresa MacKinnon, Principal Teaching Fellow, University of Warwick
Scott Windeatt, Senior Lecturer, Newcastle University
