‘A Hum About Mine Ears’ – Modern Languages staff to sing in University of Southampton Voices performance this Saturday

A Hum About Mine EarsSeveral staff members from Modern Languages will be singing with the University’s community choir, University of Southampton Voices, this Saturday 7th May 2016 in a performance of ‘A Hum About Mine Ears’, at St Michael’s Church in Bugle Street (SO14 2AH), Southampton.

The choir join internationally acclaimed vocalist and composer Clara Sanabras as she launches her new album ‘A Hum About Mine Ears’, a visionary song cycle based on The Tempest by William Shakespeare for solo voice, mixed choir and string quintet. The performance will also feature Romsey Abbey School Children’s Choir (Dir. Marion Maxey) and will be conducted by Harvey Brough (Harvey & the Wallbangers).
