From the title alone we can tell that this is going to be an intriguing film. David is in his 30s and is about to achieve his lifetime dream: a revolutionary invention of his will give him well-earned recognition at work and a promotion. However, because of a chance encounter with a con artist, everything goes haywire overnight. He loses his job, his home and his girlfriend. He then does the only thing he can do: he seeks out the man who has wronged him in an attempt to understand how it could possibly have happened. A mix between a thriller, a fable and a comedy, it is a funny and engrossing film in which nothing is what it appears to be.
